System requirements

Wolvix is build from SLAX Popcorn, so it should have about the same requirements. However there are many more applications and individual modules in Wolvix so I think the requirements for CPU and RAM are a bit higher.

This is what the SLAX requirements page says:

Medium

either IDE connected CDROM (to boot from the CD)
or USB FlashDisk (to boot from the mass storage device)
or maybe some harddisk (to boot SLAX from the disk)

BIOS

either non-emulation booting enabled (to boot from the CD)
or USB FlashDrive booting enabled (to boot from the mass storage device)

Memory

36 MB to boot slax.
96 MB to run Xwindow with fluxbox
144 MB to run Xwindow with KDE

Processor

i486 or better, Pentium or AMD are both OK.

Peripheral devices

some keyboard
PS/2 or USB connected mouse (required for Xwindow only)
serial (COM) mouse is not automatically recognized, but can be used

Harddisk

No harddisk is required

I don't have any computer under 1Ghz CPU / 512MB RAM to test Wolvix on, so I really don't what the minimum "comfortable" requirements are, but I would imagine a PC with an Intel/AMD CPU at 266 - 300 Mhz, 128 MB RAM and a 16X CD-ROM could be tolerable. If you run Wolvix on a system similar to, or lower than this, please post your experience on how well/bad it runs.
